The machines are intended to address the long-standing challenges faced by food processing plants, central kitchens, cold-chain logistics companies and catering distribution firms worldwide in cleaning reusable containers.
Large plastic transport crates and reusable crates are widely used in meat processing plants, seafood processing plants, fruit and vegetable distribution centres, ready-meal production facilities and cold-chain warehouses. After repeated use, bloodstains, grease, food residues and sludge tend to accumulate in the crevices of these containers. Manual cleaning struggles to reach hard-to-reach areas, which can easily lead to cross-contamination; washing large batches requires 5 to 8 workers and consumes vast amounts of water.
Measuring 10,000 × 1,000 × 1,000 mm, this industrial-grade large-capacity container washer features a tunnel-style continuous cleaning design, capable of accommodating large plastic crates, baking trays, waste collection bins and returnable pallets up to the maximum dimensions of mm. The entire machine frame is constructed from 304 food-grade stainless steel, which is waterproof and corrosion-resistant, facilitating disinfection and making it suitable for year-round use in damp workshop environments.
This system utilises a Siemens PLC control system and SEKO metered dosing pumps, and is suitable for cleaning baskets of various sizes.
